What makes this video interesting from a Japanese viewer’s perspective 🇯🇵
1. The song has a vibe similar to Japanese music from the 1980s, and nowadays hardly any modern Japanese artists sing in this style 😄
2. The lyrics appear on screen like karaoke, which is a big part of Japanese music culture.
3. The title “Junjou-ha (Pure of Heart)” might be a reference to a famous 1988 Japanese TV drama “Hagure Keiji Junjou-ha”, so it likely plays on that nostalgia.
Some of my favorite songs that were hits in Japan around that era are “Ii Hi Tabidachi”, “Kawa no Nagare no You ni”, and “Moshikashite Part 2” 😄
* Misora Hibari – Kawa no Nagare no You ni
* Momoe Yamaguchi – Ii Hi Tabidachi
* Sachiko Kobayashi – Moshikashite Part 2
I also made some Uma Musume shorts, so if you want, you can check them out 😄
